Students gain a greater understanding of problems faced by individuals and communities through participation in, and reflection on, service outreach. All undergraduate students at the University of Redlands are required to participate in a Community Service Activity (CSAC)/Community Engagement Reflection (CER) or faculty-taught service-learning course. Students may fulfill the CSAC requirement during any semester, May Term or summer placement. CSAC contracts typically consist of service at non-profit agencies, hospitals, and schools.
